Sotogrande - Spain, August 2013
A glamourous new build home set in southern Spain completed in August 2013.
ZaZacorp were ed to provide an innovative and bold lighting scheme throughout this new build villa just shy of 2000 square metres. We were given a free role to express our knowledge of products and interior experience to create a vibrant and inviting atmnosphere throughout.
We used the Juno for general downlighting with a mix of narrow beam versions to help the lighting scheme flow from room to room. Low level lighting recessed into floor (Tera 6) for uplighting and in walls for floor washing (Dago 6), added contrasting depths and dimensions to the large open spaces of the villa.
Lightflow led tape in warm white led 2700k and rgbw were used for discreet lighting effects in coffered ceiling throughout the lounge areas. The rgbw lightflow was particularly implemented in the large indoor pool and bar area to create a fun yet tranquil atmosphere which is completely controllable by Lutron switching. Underwater colour changing lights in the pool and uplighting of the fountain, gave the client every effect they could possible want to create the environment they wanted to achieve.
All the lighting is controlled via Lutron and fully integrated with the av system throughout.
Our favorite part of the project is the pool area where you really can acheive what you want with the lighting depending on your mood.
It has taken a year in the making but we have created a versatile and clever lighting scheme for a stunning project thats merits it.
